BWP Family Outing - Kerling Hotspring

Been here once 6 years ago for DOE (KMYSians remember?). This place would be much nicer with well kept restroom and improved access road. Enjoyed ourselves with lots of yummilicious foods and laughters - very funny seeing bunch of engineers(structural, civil, process - u name it) spending more than 1 hour to set up a canopy 
Nina really enjoyed dipping in the cold river and warm hotspring pool, playing with the river sands and stones, treated like a princess by her dayang2, being fed lots of baked potato - totally a new experience and exposure for her. Cant wait for the family day next month

Went to Ipoh Parade to celebrate papa's birthday last weekend. After a scrumtious meal of Kenny Rogers, Acu wanted to buy some earings at Sinma. While waiting for her, Jai's brother asked me whether I want to see how Nina looks like IF her hair is longer (yes, people still mistaken her as a boy eventhough she wears pink and skirts and hairbands  ) - of course I said yes...Then he showed me the many choices of wigs at the shop...We tried almost all of them!!!The results are as shown above  Its quite hard to get a wig that matches her hair colour though...

Congratulations to the newlywed  Mu'azzah & Syahril
Despite the unfortunate incident (please remember to lock all your luggages before checking them in. BAD people exists and they will take advantage on your carelessness), we had a blast!!! Beautiful place, good food, great company...I'll let the pictures explain...

Wedding in June Pt II - Amin @ Ipoh

Reached Ipoh at around 1am, tapi rumah still meriah cam baru kol 8. Yang pompuan dok sibuk belek2 hantaran, iron baju, jahit alas dulang; yang laki dok sibuk melayan bola Nina pon apalagi suka sgt sbb ramai bdak2 + sumer ndak dukung2 dia. Slept at around 3
Esoknye pg2 sumer org dah sibuk siap2 sbb Amin nikah kol 9. Tapi kitorang excuse sbb mak kata yang dahde baby xyah g nikah, g makan breakfast je So at around 10.30 kitorang g laa breakfast...bestnye derang wat stail greai ade kueytiaw, mehoon grg, kuih muih, rojak buah pon ade.tp xleh mkn byk sgt sbb tgh dah nak mkn lagi  According to the makcik yang tlg serve tu, tgh nanti ade 15 kinds of dishes termasuk eskerim, cendoi lalalalala bestnye!!tu yg kne taruh perut tu...
Balik umah, siap2 pastu g balik dewan nak tgk pengantin sanding plak. Nina dah agak cranky sbb xcukup tdo agaknye. By the time penganting berarak je dia dah tdo. Altho bising bunyi kompang n gendang, xkisah dahhh...Penat sgt agaknye sbb lack of sleep...
The wedding was beautiful. Congratulations to Amin & Sheila . See u guys in Melaka next week

Note to myself : M.U.S.T B.E E.X.T.R.A C.A.R.E.F.U.L!!! Anything can happen in a split second. While I was busy taking photo of Nina, she lost her balance and slipped into the pool. Picture #12 was taken when she was falling. Can see that she tried to hold on to the pools edge - but fail. Fortunately papa was with us... I can only scream

KLIMS 2006

We were among the first few hundreds to enter the exhibition hall last Saturday. Papa thought it wouldnt be that many people since its early Saturday morning (NOT!!!) ... The ticket line however was not so long giving us the chance to enter the hall before 10.30 am. Ive been to many exhibitions in PWTC before since my office is just a walking distance and Friday afternoon is a blessing to female govt servant , I expected that we would be able to finish viewing all the exhibits by afternoon and heading to the infamous Jalan Istana ikan bakar for lunch (since Ive missed breakfast with Warwick people in the morning, my tummy needed good treat). I was soo wrong ... We walked out of the last hall nearly 4.00 pm. Alhamdulillah Nina behaved well. Dozed off twice - sian anak mama penat. Went to The Mall for a late lunch and pray. Since the Surau is just one floor below the entertainment centre, we went up to see whether the place is still hidup...It is...I didnt realise it myself although beribu kali menjejak The Mall (like I said its only walking distance from my office)...So we let Nina experienced her first RM1 ride as a treat for being a sport and a darling throughout the day. She enjoyed it soo much. So next time buleh try lagi.

Fun with the balls

Acik gave Zafran an inflated pool for his first birthday. Its huge, even adults can fit in it . Considering the amount of water needed to fill the pool, and the increase of water tariff, Kak Noor (Zafran's mummy) decided to fill the pool with colourfull balls (cap tesco 100 pieces per bag-and she bought 4 bags ). The kids love it sooo much they want to be inside the pool everytime - which is good coz I have more time to do other things
I think my PIL's house has turned to a nursery...
And to all Mothers out there...
