Cuti-cuti Malaysia Kelantan

Fooding activities - GREAT
Shopping - unsatistifying didnt manage to go to all the pasars due to time limitation three very active toddlers were enough to make ten adults hands full
Nina experienced & enjoyed kampung life - sleeping inside kelambu, chasing after cocks, chickens, goats and sheeps, and not to forget playing with cats (her favourite)
Amelia Nabilah is very cute. Nina loved acting like big sister & didnt cry anymore whenever I carried Nabilah like she used to. So we concluded that she is ready for an adik Next year maybe

Service down....

Went to Atol's wedding despite knowing it at a very last minute...very very last minute (Ain smsed me at 1pm, we were there around 2.30-ish ) and it was worth the rush meeting Elly & Rafiq, Ain & Jane, Didi & hubby & Danish, Ariss & hubby & Arman, Izat & hubby & Umair, Liza & Terry and not to forget the lovely newlywed Atol & Amin...Big thanks to papa for taking care of (more to chasing around) Nina while I was having fun catching up with the girls
I forgot to bring my camera very last minute and rushing remember??
Nina went to the wedding with few red spots on her face. I thought they were mosquitoe bites (hey I sat with 6 doctors and they didnt say anything ) To our horror, the spots grew everywhere the next morning so we hurried to her paed. As we expected, she got CHICKEN POX

1) Not afraid of dark - actually nothing seems to frighten her.
2) Cheeky monkey - always find ways to usik people around her.
3) Food machine - mouths/eats everything she can grab with exception for soft gooey thingy.
4) Strong - rarely cries if she falls, tripped, terhantuk, etc. Laughed during her one year immunisation.
5) Scream - if Monsters, Inc. really does exists, we could be millionaire

A day @ MAHA 2006
|
|
Yuppp...we were among the 1M visitors. It was surely the largest and 'longest distance u have to walk' expo I've ever been. And it was not easy with a 15-month old girl tagging along. I've been thinking of going to the expo since it's officiation last Monday but it was quite impossible to go there during weekdays-after work. So during breakfast today I asked Jai whether he has any other plan and if not, why dont we go there - not knowing that its THAT big
I was very surprised upon reaching the exit to MARDI, seeing the queue and all the cars parked at the large terraced area, not expecting that it would be soo many people there at only half an hour after they opened. But my surprise didnt end there. After getting a parking spot, we walked to the tents - they provide shuttle 'tractors, vans, buggies and busses' from the car park to the exhibiton area but we thought that we still can manage walking and strolling nina.
After having fun watching all the animals exhibited, we decided that its time for lunch. Nina must have been starving since she gulped down 2 bottles of fresh milk(strawberry & corn flavour-courtesy of Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan) in one go. There was a food court nearby but we looked at the map and found out that there's an 'international food court' so why not??To our surprise, the area where we have visited for the last 2 hours was just small part of the exhibition. All the halls, state houses and agrobazaar are at the other part of the area which is quite impossible to go on foot And the queue for the shuttle was like 1km long - I kid u not...
Since Nina was asleep on the stroller, Jai joined the queue while Nina & me sit under the tent (thanks papa we love you loads). Luckily as our turn came, it was a van - more comfortable and air-conditioned compared to the sardined-open top tractor. So 15 minutes later, we reached the exhibition hall and thank God they were also air-conditioned. Enjoyed our laksa sarawak, kacang pool, pasembur & glasses of soya bean milk at the nearby food hall despite the heavy rain, shaky hall (its a temporary pasang siap type), swinging lampshades and angkle high water level. Nice spread they have there with lots of choices but unfortunately quite pricey
So after we had our prayer and refreshed ourselves with a cuppa, we joined back the queue for the shuttle back. Nina was already flat out on our way to the car park. It was a very very tiring day, but nothing beats the quality time we spent together
p/s: on the minus side, I lost my phone there . So friends, please sms me ur no. so that I can keep them in my new simcard.

Third raya as a wife, second raya as a mother - em very grateful celebrating Eid with all the people I love... But this made me the happiest person this Eid
Yup she took her first few steps 3 days before raya. I was joking by telling her that she wont get any raya shoes if she still refuse to walk - guess my tactics worked
