Cuti-cuti Malaysia Lumut-Pangkor
|
|
Two things that happened during the holiday which worth mentioning...
1) How she managed to fix back the phone cable that we disconnected to prevent her from making any calls (learnt our lesson after one incident where the fire station called my parents house asking if everything was ok since they got a call from us - obviously made by the cheeky one)
2) How she inherits my habits- sangat suka meratah tulang and kepala ikan

JJCM KL on Deepavali
|
|
Playing tourist is soo fun!!! Who says you need to go far/spend a lot for a break? Jai and me have been very busy lately that we thought we need a quality time to catch up with our lil one. With the work contraints, here's how we spent our one day Deepavali public holiday....
Day before - Checked in at Swiss Garden KL after work. Settled down and freshened up, after Maghrib strolled along Jalan Bukit Bintang to experience the night life. Dinner at Subway and supper at Mc D overlooking the street performers and neon lights. Menyesal sungguh xbwk camera
Deepavali - Woke up early to have our breakfast at the famous nasi lemak Tanglin. Luckily the queue was not that long and the seats were still plenty. Nina liked the rice very much that she managed to finish the whole platefull!!! Wanted to go to Taman Tasik Perdana but was stopped by a policeman at one of the entrance saying that it was full Sebesar2 taman tu buleh penuh ke? Straight to the National Monument and had fun snapping pics here and there...Went back to the hotel and Nina had a blast playing in the pool. Checked out and walked to the Pavilion to check out the newly opened mall. Memang heaven!!! Lunch at Tony Roma (two thumbs up for the food and service) and later walked back to the hotel where we parked our car and went back home with a stop at OBR Sungai Buloh for tea.
Thanks to my darlings for making this much needed break a very enjoyable one!!!

Alhamdulillah...This year is my fourth Syawal as a wife, and second one as a mother. Kalau ikut rotation yang mmg dah established three yrs ago, patutnya beraya kat Ipoh. But then my PIL decided that they wanted to beraya kat kampung Melaka (FIL's hometown). Lagilaaa best sbb Melaka-Muar is just 30 mins away with the newly opened toll-free highway hehehhehe...
Started our balik kampung journey one day before Eid. Singgah Alamanda in search for Nina's raya shoes. Merata cari before this samada xberkenan, xde saiz (she's currently wearing size 8 ), not to her liking (penting sbb kalau x membazir je nanti die nak pakai slipar cabuk die je) etc. Fortunately we found the 'one' and mama pun amik peluang last minute shopping since there were not many people since ramai dah start cuti - sape nak dtg alamanda time ni kan...kalau Sogo ke, Midvalley ke time2 ni sure packed dengan umat manusia...
1st Raya cam biasa salam2, makan2 then beraya rumah relatives.
2nd Raya the whole clan datang Muar beraya at my parents house. Still terasa-rasa my mum's yummilicious kari itik...Back to Melaka again to sambung beraya rumah other relatives.
3rd Raya everybody started to leave Melaka. Early morning Abg Mamat & Kak Aileen to Kelantan, then Abg Man & Kakak to Penang, then us to Muar and finally the rest to Ipoh. Started to round my relatives house plak.
4th & 5th Raya lazying in front of the tv and eating non stop.
6th Raya back to KL
7th Raya papa started work. Penatnya melayan my kampung-sick daughter. Asik2 tanya Shafiq, Afan, Akhwan, Baby, Atuk abah, Umi...
8th & 9th Raya my parents datang to beraya @ relatives house arnd Klang Valley.
10th Raya started working
We had a great Raya and hope yours are the same!!! To all my friends, our house are always open and you guys are most welcome to beraya at our new abode in Rawang. Do call first ya!!!

Ramadhan Mubarak
|
|
| Quote: | Do'a malaikat Jibril menjelang Ramadhan "Ya Allah tolong abaikan puasa ummat Muhammad, apabila sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadhan jika dia tidak melakukan hal-hal yang berikut:
-Tidak memohon maaf terlebih dahulu kepada kedua orang tuanya (jika masih ada);
-Tidak berma'afan terlebih dahulu antara suami isteri;
-Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu dengan orang-orang sekitarnya.
Maka Rasulullah pun mengatakan Amin sebanyak 3 kali.

Just a small celebration at the nursery, and I wasnt even there. Passed the cake, goodie bags, digicam and Nina's dress to the teacher and impressed with the wonderful job they have done!!! Thank you Kak Na for decorating the nursery and providing party packs (hats, mende tiup2 tu, etc) for the children. Glad that the they love the cake (hey, who doesnt love Barney?) and the goodie bags (that made me stay in my office room every lunchtime for almost a week - my colleagues igt I puasa Rejab hehehhehe)...
As for the little one, she's getting cheekier and more manja. Kalau mama marah or bulatkan mata for her wrongdoings, terus peluk mama n say "mama, sayaaang". Kalau xlayan die cakap/panggil, she will call mama "ayang", and papa "abang" (yup, as wut we call each other )...isk isk isk kici2 lg sudah pandai reverse psycho
Very independent, kalau buleh semua nak buat sdiri...Rajin tolong mama, walaupon kadang2 lagi membuatkan my blood go upstairs Very brave, last nite mama dah tdo2 ayam, she asked for water. I said air kat bawah (bawah katil). Minutes later dgr bunyi dpd kitchen "nak airrr...nak aiirrr" I rushed downstairs only to see her smiling with a mug in her hand and said "mama nak airr" adoilaaaa...
To our cuppycakes, sugarplum, gumdrops Natasha Badrina, mama and papa wish you a very happy birthday, with many2 happy returns. May you grow up to be a good caliph, a pious muslimah and a proud to the nation Insyaallah...We love you loads dear!!!!

Natasha = Strong
Badrina = Our Moon
Natasha Badrina = Our Strong Moon
I’ve always wanted a girl since I knew I was pregnant simply because:
1)Girls have more choices for clothes and accessories (blimmey I found it very hard to choose clothes for Zafran and Syafiq when I was shopping for their baju raya)
2)Im the oldest child and I think I did quite well in taking care of my siblings hahahha
3)My instinct somehow told me that I was carrying a girl. Most of the baby stuff that we bought were meant for girl. Also, I used to recite Surah Maryam, Nissa’ etc a lot. I can only recall reciting Surah Yusuf once during my pregnancy – yes I was THAT confident.
Mind you, Nina didn’t show any sign of her gender (she was indeed a very shy fetus). Even during my last scan, the day I was admitted to the hospital and one day before she was borned, I still didn’t know the exact gender of my first baby. When I asked the Dr that time, she just smiled at me and said, you’ll know it tomorrow insyallah…Alhamdulillah, when the midwife showed me the gender (she showed me her **** first before showing me her face) I was very excited and couldn’t wait to tell jai. Jai didn’t get to see nina being carried out from the OT as he was fetching my parents from the lobby. But I was all relieved when I saw him as I was strolled out from the OT. Smiling at his blur and worry face(it was an emergency c-sect hence he was not allowed to accompany me), I popped up the question “ Dah jumpe Natasha?” Gosh my eyes are watery as I typed this,xpsl2 emo. And yes, I have planned for the name long long ago, even before we got married. For no reason I like the name, and thank God it has a good meaning.
Being a loving husband he is, he accepted the name but I insisted that he finds another name to couple with Natasha. We searched through all books lent by family and friends and he was browsing through the books every night but nothing came to his liking. Yes we’ve thought about Saleha (like me and my sisters) but Natasha Saleha??? Mmm…pass…until one night he came to me all smiling, telling me that he had found THE name, and he told me his reasons. Badrina for girl and Badrin for boy(wouldnt be paired with Natasha obviously).
So Natasha Badrina her name is, she’s our strong (full) moon; bright, pretty and fascinating. We hope that she will grow up to be a leader, smart, firm and yet gentle and polite. We pray that she will be successful, always help others in need and be a good caliph and muslimah. Ameen….
